I am an Android person. My grandma has an iPhone. I need help. Her phone is stuck in an endless password resetting loop. I enter a new one, go to settings, and have to enter a new one. I’ve done this at least 10 times now. I’m out of passwords and patience. Help. Please
NOTE: NONE of our computers have itunes. We cannot do a backup because of this and the fact that we cannot log into any account so even if we did download it we would be out of luck.

She doesn’t want to because we can’t back up any of her stuff. None of our PCs have iTunes....and she is visiting from nj so doesn’t have her computer either

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

Backup the phone and restore it using iTunes.

Yeah, try the hard reset. Hold the front and top buttons down at the same time to restart it. If that doesn’t fix it, I would google the problem. I often get an answer that way. Next step would be to hook it up to iTunes and restore from backup or to original settings.

I believe this is called being up shit creek without a paddle.

Wish I could hard reset it but we don’t have iTunes on any of our devices here

Is it possible to download it on one of them just for this purpose? (since you’re an Android user)

Hard reset doesn't erase anything, it just clears the phones cache. Give it a shot, won't hurt anything. Again, hold the power button and home button until you see the Apple logo.

Sadly not. As I just updated the post... Her account is like frozen. I can’t log in so nothing will work.

Guess a trip to an apple store is in order... But tomorrow is Black friday. And our store is in a huge mall.

You can back it all up onto the cloud.
Clouds bro.
No really though.

Oohhh…that’s tough. I think the last resort is to head to an Apple store and explain the situation.

There are no pros in regards to the iPhone

Lol
I feel you. I do not like them or understand the love.

BTW this was a serious question. There must be a way to hard reboot an iPhone. On Android you hold the power button for 10 seconds.

I think it’s already here, but a hard reset will solve a lot of problems

Does she remember the password? What password is it for? Is it the Apple ID? passcode to access the phone? If it keeps asking for the password it's because the one you're entering is wrong.

Like Brian said below, hard reset doesn’t require anything extra. As for iTunes, you can download to any PC, Mac or Windows. You do not need to access her account for this. Then, you can backup and restore from that PC. Here is a link that may address your issue, based on what you described.:
